Masel, Attorney Adviser, Enforcement\n U.S. S.E.C., Miami Regional Office\n \nMr. Masel is the Attorney Advisor for Enforcement in the SEC’s Miami office, where he handles case opening recommendations, review of tips, complaints, and referrals, and information sharing with other agencies. Before his present position, Scott was a Senior Trial Counsel in the SEC’s Enforcement Trial Unit, where he litigated and tried cases relating to hedge fund fraud, Ponzi and pyramid schemes, financial fraud, and administrative proceedings. Prior to joining the SEC, Scott was a litigator in private practice with what was then the Carlton Fields firm in Miami, and before that he served in the Florida Attorney General’s Office as an Assistant Attorney General and the Bureau Chief for Civil Litigation in that office’s South Florida Division.  Scott is a graduate of the UCLA School of Law, where he was an editor of the UCLA Law Review.\n \n \n \nPBCEPC appreciates the support of Platinum Sponsors:\n \n \n \n \nGold Sponsors:\n    \n
