She has primary responsibility for United Church Funds’ shareholder engagement initiatives and interpreting denominational calls for justice into investment implementation.\n \nThrough her tenure, United Church Funds has actively responded to the growth of the socially responsible investing movement by becoming a signatory to the United Nations Principles for Responsible Investment and becoming a member of the Forum for Sustainable and Responsible Investment (USSIF). She was also involved in responding to denominational demand for fossil fuel free investment by helping to creating white label investment products that avoid oil, coal and gas.\n \nMs. McCloskey sits on the Governing Board of the Interfaith Center on Corporate Responsibility (ICCR). She currently serves as the vice chair. Ms. McCloskey also serves as a co-convener of the Climate Solutions Impact Investment group which is administered by Ceres.\n \nShe has worked for several non-profit organizations including the Pension Boards-United Church of Christ and the Institute for Women’s Policy Research, with years of experience in communications, marketing, and advocacy.
