Mitchell A. Drossman is Managing Director and Head of National Wealth Strategies for the Chief Investment Office (CIO) within Bank of America’s Global Wealth & Investment Management (GWIM) division. In this role, Mitchell manages and leads the Wealth Strategies Advisors to provide objective insight to help Bank of America‘s Private Bank clients align their financial and estate planning strategies with their goals by integrating the full capabilities of our investment and financial planning services and by utilizing the broad range of Bank of America Corporation and its affiliates. Mitchell works with individuals, families, closely-held family businesses, family offices and institutions in conjunction with their tax and legal advisors to facilitate wealth transfer, business succession (pre-and post-liquidity event strategies), wealth structuring and estate planning needs that are often complex requiring customized analysis and strategies.

Prior to joining U.S. Trust, Mitchell was an estate planning attorney with the New York City law firm of Proskauer LLP, for approximately nine years. Mr. Drossman holds a Certified Public Accountant designation and was formerly with Ernst & Young, LLP. Mr. Drossman served on the Advisory Board of Practical Drafting, a highly regarded estate planning publication. He has spoken at numerous seminars including various Estate Planning Councils (New York 2015, Greensboro, NC 2013), New York University’s Summer Institute in Taxation (2007 to 2019), Florida Bar Attorney/Trust Officer Conference (2016), Minnesota State Bar Annual Probate & Trust Law Conference (2016), the UJA-Federation of New York’s Annual Estate, Tax and Financial Planning Conference (2011-2013), The College of William & Mary Marshall-Wythe School of Law’s Annual Tax Conference (2010 and 2009), and the ACTEC Annual Meeting (2007).  Mr. Drossman has often been quoted in various publications, including The Wall Street Journal, Barron’s, Forbes, BusinessWeek and The New York Times.

Mr. Drossman is a Fellow in the American College of Trust and Estate Counsel (ACTEC). Mr. Drossman served as a member of the Association of the Bar of the City of New York (and its Committee on Estate and Gift Taxation, 1996-2000), the New York State Society of CPAs (and served as the Chair of the Committee on Income Taxation of Estates and Trusts), the New York State Bar Association (and its Trusts and Estates Section and Estate Planning Committee), the UJA-Federation's Trusts and Estates Specialty Group (and served as Chair from 2009-2011), the Museum of Modern Art’s Planned Giving and Advisory Committee and is a member of the Alumni Admissions Board of Brooklyn Law School.

Mr. Drossman received his J.D. cum laude from Brooklyn Law School, where he served as Editor of the Law Review.

Anthony J. Giacalone, CPA

Anthony began his accounting career in 2007 and joined HBK in 2011. Anthony is licensed to practice in the State of Florida. He has extensive experience in the areas of taxation, tax planning, business consulting and financial reporting. He provides accounting, tax and consulting, and transaction advisory services to individuals as well as a wide-range of industries including construction, real estate, manufacturing, wholesale distribution, professional firms and non-profit organizations. Along with servicing client accounts in HBK’s Southeast Florida Region, Anthony also serves as a member of the Tax Specialists Group, working in coordination with HBK’s Tax Advisory Group. Along with his professional and volunteer responsibilities, Anthony also participates in speaking engagements for a variety of professional and civic organizations and groups within his community.

Scott Martinho
Director,Alternative Investment Consultant
Scott is a Director with UBS where he is responsible for Alternative Investments education and distribution in the Southeast region.
 
Scott joined UBS in 2008 and has been the alternative investment consultant for the Southeast region since 2015. Prior to assuming his current role, Scott managed UBS' alternative investments internal consulting desk. In addition to his managerial responsibilities, Scott provided alternative investments education, implementation recommendations, and commentary to clients and financial advisors located in the New England and Metropolitan regions.
Prior to joining the UBS Alternative Investments group, Scott was a member of a two year post-graduate rotational program at UBS Wealth Management and also spent time working as an analyst on a UBS Wealth Management team.
 
Scott earend a B.S. in Economics from the Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania. Scott is a CFA charter holder and holds his Series 3, 7, and 66 securities licenses.
 
Tommy J. Thompson is a Financial Advisor with Fortitude Investment Group, LLC, which has offices in New York, New Jersey, Fort Lauderdale and North Palm Beach, Florida, in which Mr. Thompson aids in Florida operations. His professional career began in high-end real estate, working with Sotheby’s International Realty, specializing in large tracks of acreage. He served as a resource between clients and multiple internal groups to ensure clarity of goals and quality and adherence to deadlines. He is able to offer his knowledge and experience from collaborations with investors, real estate professionals, engineers, architects, construction management teams & finance professionals through his professional career to provide a unique perspective on a variety of situations. Tommy prides himself on his ability to augment alternative investment options to clients offering high quality, institutional grade real estate solutions to retail investors, aiding in your professionally managed securitized and institutional real estate offerings. He offers investors the opportunity to potentially benefit from a passive investment in institutional real estate (1031 Exchanges) through DST (Delaware Statutory Trust) and TIC (Tenants in Common) investments with a projected annual cash flow, appreciation potential, and the potential benefits of capital gains tax deferral. Working alongside commercial real estate professionals, Certified Public Accountants (CPA), Public Attorneys (PA), Qualified Intermediaries (QI), investors, respected community members and financial experts, he has positioned himself in a key business stance to assist in estate consultation services. In addition to securitized offerings for 1031 Exchange, Tommy offers investments in private REITs (Real Estate Investment Trusts), real estate funds, oil and gas funds and note offerings. He believes his lifelong focus on integrity, punctuality, attention to detail and ambitious work ethic are the virtuous hallmarks which has continued to surpass clients and business associates expectations. Mr. Thompson was raised in upstate New York and now resides on The Treasure Coast, Florida. Tommy maintains his Series 7, series 63 registrations as well as real estate licenses in New York & Florida. He is a member of the Young Professionals Network of the Palm Beaches (YPN).
